Volunteer Now for Doctor of the Day!
TOMA has the opportunity to provide the “Doctor of the Day” on Capitol Hill during the 2019 Session each MONDAY from 1 pm to 6 pm. This is a great way to establish relationships with legislators and enlighten this important group about the Osteopathic Medical profession.
TOMA will set up appointments with your state senator and representative, and will provide talking points on the issues important to all osteopathic physicians.
Can’t fit in a trip to Nashville this year? Then please find an opportunity to meet with your senator and representative in your own community. Find your state legislators here
. Take him or her out for a cup of coffee or stop by their office for a “get to know you” visit. Relationships developed now will be helpful in the future when the Legislature considers new regulations or laws that could affect your practice.
TOMA advocates for ALL Tennessee Osteopathic Physicians, from those who are medical students to those in retirement. The organization works closely with lobbyists and other healthcare professional groups ensuring that osteopathic medical interests are at the forefront of every discussion.
Physicians cannot be silent. Please join us…together, our voice is heard.
